Sibling Program

May Court members have volunteered for fifteen years to do a tour at London Health Sciences Women’s and Children’s Hospital for expectant parents and their three to six-year olds. Eleven, one- hour tours are held yearly on a Saturday for nine months of the year. Tours include: a visit to the Birthing Centre, a visit from a new mom and baby, a puppet show, a story and hands on time spent with “newborn”, lifelike baby dolls.

Children attending these tours become better prepared for the arrival of their new sibling and proudly graduate with a sticker celebrating the completion of the “course”. Our partner, The London Health Sciences Centre, appreciates our hard work, creativity and commitment to this program, which has “graduated” over 800 siblings.
